The Mountview community celebrates Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month.
Every 2nd Sunday, the Mountview community explores God's Word in Scripture through a guided lectio divina meditation in the place of conventional preaching.
Awaken! All Age Service
Go to our Ministry page for details about this exciting initiative aimed at bringing together different age groups for interactive worship at a time outside regular Sunday worship.
Mountview's Sunday worship commences at 9:30am.
The Mountview Vietnamese Faith Community worships at 5:30pm.
The Falam Chin Christian Church worship at 6:30pm on Saturday and 12 noon on Sunday.
After every Sunday service it's time for fellowship - a time to catch-up over a cuppa, converse, and re-affirm our identity as a community of faith sharing life together.
Worship at Mountview is augmented by congregational singing accompanied by the organ, while our band plays on selected occasions.
Mountview is blessed by top-flight audio and visual support for its worship services, and our dedicated multimedia team is frequently called upon to support wider Uniting Church activities, such as meetings of the Victoria/Tasmania Synod.
Located in the foyer every Sunday morning, the library contains books on hymns, Bible study, life issues and personal development, as well as a range of biographies and novels. There are no limits on the number of books that may be borrowed, or any limit on the borrowing time.
Centre 81 Basket
Every Communion Sunday, a basket is placed in the foyer at Mountview to receive donations of non-perishable food items as well as toiletries and cleaning products. These items are made available to the needy in our community through Centre 81. These donations form part of the Offering during worship.
In addition to the Library, our Minister is happy to make available by arrangement his personal library of books on matters covering theology, science, philosophy, and more.
