Worship

Mountview aims to provide thoughtful, engaging worship that meets the needs of different age groups and brings a real sense of God's presence into our lives.

We support worship in-person when permitted and worship @ home

Communion

The Cluster community usually celebrates Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month
* During the pandemic, we have "@ Home" resources for communion; please click this link:

Music

Worship at Mountview includes congregational singing usually supported by a church organ,
plus our own band plays on selected occasions.
* During the pandemic, our multimedia team are in partnership with the multimedia team of Cheltenham-Mentone UCA to produce sing-along lyrics videos for both congregations.  Here's our links

Multimedia

Mountview is blessed by professional quality audio and visual support for its worship services, and our dedicated multimedia team is frequently called upon to support wider Uniting Church activities, such as meetings of the Victoria-Tasmania Synod; and of the national Assembly when it's in Victoria

After every Sunday morning worship it's time for fellowship - a time to catch-up over a cuppa, converse, and re-affirm our identity as a community of faith sharing life together.
During the pandemic, these are suspended.

Library

Located in the foyer every Sunday morning, the library contains books on hymns, Bible study, life issues and personal development, as well as a range of biographies and novels.  There are no limits on the number of books that may be borrowed, nor any limit on the borrowing time
* The library is currently closed

Centre 81 Basket

Every Communion Sunday, usually first Sundays, a basket is placed in the foyer at Mountview to receive donations of non-perishable food items as well as toiletries and cleaning products.  These items are made available to those in need in our community through our Centre 81 mission.  These donations form part of the Offering during this worship
