COVID vs Church  [FAQs]

Sharing news & advice with our community at Mountview has
become more challenging during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This page is to provide guidance, most from our Synod of Victoria-Tasmania, about managing pandemic restrictions and the implications for churches.

When possible, the latest versions are loaded here (at top of listing: yyyy.mm.dd).

Below are the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) and other Information during COVID-19 restrictions.
UPDATE: Victoria continues with 'COVID-Safe' restrictions, very similar to rules in place last Christmas; and these apply until (and if) a status of  'COVID-Normal' restrictions are announced.
To ensure you are viewing the latest weekly update, check the file's date or check at: Synod FAQs
For other information and or resources from our UCA Synod, please go to: https://victas.uca.org.au
TIP: Remember to consult multiple health advices to properly determine the allowed circumstances;
e.g. organisations must use QR registration codes to enable 2 sqm density, but if the activity includes "singing" then the maximum possible is possibly reduced, i.e. less people, due to the 2m+ space between people.
