LifeLine: 13 11 14 During COVIDsafe Settings...The Uniting Church takes very seriously the risks of COVID-19 and actively strives to provide safe practices for all we do. Like others, our members include: people of older ages; some with medical conditions; and those who feel vulnerable.
We expect all members to show consideration for others, and this includes staying away if feeling unwell, keeping social distancing, wearing a mask when in closer proximity to others or in higher risk settings. We also keep up to date with Vic Govt Health Department advice and from our Synod. If you have any COVID / flu symptoms, admission is NOT permitted; & people must get tested. Holy Communion and food/drink hospitality have many hygiene limitations. National UCA Assembly has extended on-line virtual (alternate) communion processes until at least July 2022. We remind everyone to always maintain 1.5m+ space with others who are not of the same household*, and to 'wear a mask' if distancing cannot be maintained. * household: also includes a "bubble" with a very close friend, or between 2 intimate friends.
