Who we pray for each week...Our Prayers of the People (sometimes called Prayers for Others) has always had a very strong outwards-based focus. Each time we begin with the world, selecting a few countries and or topical situations; then one of our local non-UCA churches, a couple of UCA congregations within our presbytery, plus a UCA agency or ministry.
This is followed by Candle Prayers where we light a candle and say a prayer for those very unwell, or a blessing for those successfully on the improve. Lord's Prayer: UCA Version![]()
